Americans actually have slow internet compared to other countries. If you want to be jealous of a country or 2, be jealous of South Korea and Japan. They have amazingly fast internet, for extremely low prices.

Also: AidinSwiftarrow, I wonder if they rolled out DOCSIS 3.0 where you are. Those speeds would suggest that, albeit being slower than the apparently offered speeds of DOCSIS 3.0, they are on the lower threshold of it. Perhaps try it during off peak hours (in the morning, mid afternoon on a weekday if possible) and see what you get?

Kuma, your connection should also be at least double that with Cox. I'd call them up and complain.

EDIT: At about 6:30AM, these were my test results (worse than before O_O)
